It all began with a dream.

Hi, fellow dreamer! My name is Mary-Anne.

My fascination with dreams began in my teenage years, when I experienced my first lucid dream. That moment opened a door into a world where imagination and consciousness blur. Since then, I’ve been deeply curious about the meaning of dreams and how they can be understood, interpreted, and even shaped.

Lucid dreaming became more than a personal practice—it became a creative tool. I began to sleep with intention, using my dreams as inspiration for my art and poetry. Each night became an opportunity to tap into the subconscious and return with something beautiful.

In college, this passion evolved into Dreamspired, my graphic design senior thesis project. I collected dreams from people, translated them into illustrations, and built a website that housed the artwork alongside resources for dream exploration—tips for lucid dreaming and how to keep a dream journal.

After many years, I’m bringing Dreamspired back—reimagining it with new life, deeper insight, and an expanded creative vision.

Sweet dreams! ☁️

What is Dreamspired?

Through this project, I aim to teach others how to engage with their dreams—how to recall them, record them, and draw inspiration from them. Whether through lucid dreaming, dream journaling, or simply paying closer attention to the surreal narratives of sleep, Dreamspired encourages a deeper relationship with the inner world.

By collecting and illustrating dreams shared by others, I transform these intimate, symbolic stories into visual art—each piece a reflection of the dreamer’s unique subconscious landscape. Alongside the artwork, Dreamspired offers tools, tips, and resources to help anyone tap into their own dream-inspired creativity.

This project is a blend of art, mysticism, and inner exploration—a celebration of the beauty and mystery that lives within us when we close our eyes.
